Summit
A view from 1939:
SUMMIT, (5,212 alt., 10 pop.), in Marias Pass, is
on the Continental Divide. North of the railroad tracks on
the brow of the hill is a Statue of John F. Stevens,
who discovered the pass. The tall limestone
shaft in the center of the highway, is a Monument
to Theodore Roosevelt.
