Montana
A view from 1939:
HASSEL, the ghost of a noted mining camp of the 1890's, has
a few lessees who still work the gold and silver properties
of the district.
Though unusual faulting makes Hassel ore veins hard
to follow, the mines are credited with a production of about
$100,000 since 1934.
