Abandoned Mine Historical Narratives
A view from 1939:
CLANCEY, (4,213 alt, 125 pop.), a famous
silver camp in the late nineteenth century, is still a shipping
point for ore from small mines in the vicinity. The dumps of
old mining operations are near the service station.
