Abandoned Mine Historical Narratives
A view from 1939: Alhambra Hot Springs, (4,265 alt),
is a quiet resort (cabins, saddle horses available; outdoor
plunge, 250 and 500; vapor baths, 500). The hot water, which
has a high mineral content, flows underground from Lava Mountain
(L), a high volcanic mound.
