Montana
A view from 1939:
By day, FRAZER, (2,068 alt., 300 pop.), is announced
by tall grain elevators that indicate the reason for its existence.
At night a few neon signs break the intense darkness of the
prairie. Ancient horse-drawn rigs move down the street beside
streamlined automobiles. The observation tower
above Fort Peck Dam is visible.
